Crestwood Elementary School Parent/Family Involvement Plan
School Mission:
The mission of Crestwood school is to inspire all students to become curious, caring, and confident learners.
Crestwood Elementary recognizes that a child’s education is a responsibility shared by the school and family during the entire period the child spends in school. Our goal is to help all students succeed.
General Expectations:
Crestwood will provide programs, activities, and procedures that involve all families.
- Send survey at the beginning of the year to determine parents needs, available dates and times that are convenient for further meetings, development and input.
- Parent/Teacher Conferences

- Room Parents
- Science Night
- Ice Cream Social
- Fundraising Events
- Literacy on the Lawn
- Parent Workshops on standards or Presentations (TBD based on survey)
- Author’s Visits
- Guest Speakers at PTO Meetings (encourage parents to arrange speakers, and school can provide possible resources)
- Stakeholder Meeting
Crestwood will coordinate and continuously communicate with families.
